In today’s fitness industry, especially among young men, there's an unrelenting chase for excellence - the perfect physique, the most dialled-in diet, the most efficient training plan, the optimal morning routine, the cold plunge, the supplements, the 5am hustle. It’s a life engineered for success. Or so it seems.
But underneath this shiny surface lies a deeper question: at what cost?
We live in a time where self-improvement is currency - and the pressure to become the "most optimal version" of yourself is everywhere. Social media feeds are flooded with shredded physiques, hustle culture quotes, and routines that promise to transform you into a machine of discipline and success.
But you’re not a machine. You’re not AI. You’re a human being.
And somewhere in the chaos of calorie tracking, dopamine detoxes, and never-ending self-audits, many young men are losing themselves. Identity is being traded for algorithms. Emotion is being side-lined for efficiency. The pursuit of being "more" is starting to feel like it's never enough.
